I love RL meetups. Every one I have ever attended has been wonderfully fun. And today was no exception. We chatted and had a lovely time, and I was able to record some of our conversation for an upcoming episode of Voices in the Machine!

I regret missing the event, that darned RL got in the way of things.
I LOVE the Royal Mile, whenever I'm over in that neck of the woods I like to drop in.. they have a lively Celtic-based events calendar.. full of scotch tastings, sea-chanty singing, and live music. Great place.
Of course, it would have been great to meet you all, as well, I can have a beer at ANY local dive. (grins)

I really wanted to go, but with no vehicle, and tight funds, it was an impossibility. Meet-ups in the Chattanooga, TN or Knoxville, TN areas enter the realm of probability, or even Nashville, TN; Asheville, NC; or Atlanta, GA enter the real of possibility.
Living in the other, (ahem) bigger Washington, there was no way I was getting in on this one. So I just went to Ikea and shopped with Teaa Demina! Ha! We had fun. No beer (sad), but Lingonberry sauce, kitchen gadgets, candles, and other cool things (happy)!
