St John Tea Transcripts - 02/19/2014

[17:01] Gabrielle Riel: Good day everyone and welcome to tea! I always start on time!
[17:01] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): Guten Abend, Miz Gabi.
[17:02] Gabrielle Riel: I am going to do something different for this tea. A first.
[17:02] Cee Edman: Greetings, Frau Baronin
[17:02] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) kisses his wife quietly in greeting and gestures to his right
[17:03] Gabrielle Riel: I have actually prepared a *visual* agenda for this tea. The slides over the fireplace. :-)
[17:03] Gabrielle Riel: That way we’ll all know our topics and when we’ll discuss them.
[17:03] Emmanuelle Huntress Vannas

[17:03] Gabrielle Riel: We only have two main topics tonight, but one of them is “big”, that topic being Mardi Gras.
[17:04] Gabrielle Riel: So here is our agenda. We’ll discuss the St John Market first and then we’ll delve into Mardi Gras planning.
[17:05] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) starts to rise and is beaten to the punch.
[17:05] Gabrielle Riel: First topic – The St John Market

[17:05] Gabrielle Riel: I don't know if you have seen/noticed the market.
[17:05] Gabrielle Riel: It sits on the opposite side of Duchess Square from where we are right now.
[17:06] Gabrielle Riel: The square is called Duchess Square btw. :-)
[17:06] Gabrielle Riel: The build is by rmarie Beedit, one of my former residents from New Toulouse and it’s based on the New Orleans French market.
[17:07] Gabrielle Riel: The point of the market is to draw people to the sim and to share our creations, so I want the items to be free or low cost.
[17:08] Soliel Snook: I have lots of inventory from the garden center that I am willing to put out..as freebies
[17:08] Gabrielle Riel: It will be the place for our content creators to place some of their wares.
[17:09] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): I may have an item or two as well.
[17:09] Mercy (mercy.warcliffe): I have some too
[17:09] Gabrielle Riel: If you are a "casual" content creator like me, you are welcome to place items.
[17:09] Gabrielle Riel: For example, I sometimes make hats for fun, but I don’t do it regularly and I don’t have a shop or sell them.
[17:10] Gabrielle Riel: I might make a special edition hat (or 10) and place them in the market just “for fun”.
[17:11] Gabrielle Riel: If you don’t create content, don’t worry about it! Enjoy the market’s offerings.
[17:11] Soliel Snook: Pardon me.. Incoming Twain
[17:12] Gabrielle Riel counts chairs - ok we're still good
[17:12] Gabrielle Riel: For our content creators with shops, I want to place landmarks to their shops in the market.
[17:12] Soliel Snook: Oh cool...
[17:12] Soliel Snook: I'd like some traffic to the garden
[17:13] Gabrielle Riel: I'll get those sculpty or mesh big push pins.
[17:13] Gabrielle Riel: With a sign that tells people to click those for the shop land marks.
[17:13] Soliel Snook: Brilliant
[17:13] Gabrielle Riel: And I'll put a pin by each creator's items. I actually have several tables in the market.
[17:14] Gabrielle Riel: Probably enough to give a whole table to each of you with a shop
[17:14] Gabrielle Riel: And the rest of us casual creators can put our stuff on another table.
[17:15] Gabrielle Riel: There is one thing...and I have it on the slide.
[17:15] Gabrielle Riel: I want low cost or free items...
[17:15] Gabrielle Riel: However, free or lost cost does not = crap!
[17:15] Gabrielle Riel: I want quality items in the market that people can use.
[17:16] Gabrielle Riel: Most of you know I have high standards. :-D
[17:16] Gabrielle Riel: I'm trying to think of some of the best "freebies" I've received.
[17:17] Gabrielle Riel: Some decent clothes. A tea set or two.
[17:17] Gabrielle Riel: Some nice, classic pieces of furniture.
[17:17] Gabrielle Riel: Are there any freebies that any of you have gotten in the past that you found useful and/or cool?
[17:18] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): Fraulein Lightfoot's collar.
[17:18] Gabrielle Riel: I have a freebie singles dance machine that I have been using since 2007.
[17:18] Cee Edman: Would you object to some transfer items we might want to dispose of from our inventories?
[17:19] Gabrielle Riel: That would be fine Cee, just make sure you indicate on it somewhere that they need to buy, then take it into inventory.
[17:19] Gabrielle Riel looks around
[17:19] Cee Edman: Or is that too much "yard sale"?
[17:19] Gabrielle Riel: I don't think I knew any of you back when I had my resale shop in Caledon Carntaigh.
[17:20] Gabrielle Riel: I'm totally fine with it, just as long as they understand to take it into inventory.
[17:20] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): No, I do not have seventy scarlet and ruby gowns, not at all.
[17:20] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) coughs
[17:20] Gabrielle Riel: I had a resale shop wayyyy back in the day where I got rid of "old" clothes.
[17:21] Emmanuelle Huntress: I might be willing to put out some of my clothes
[17:21] Gabrielle Riel: They were nice. I'd just been SEEN in them. ;-)
[17:21] Gabrielle Riel: So off they went to be sold!
[17:21] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): Ach! The horror.
[17:21] Cee Edman cannot imagine Gabi with anything out-dated.
[17:21] Gabrielle Riel: There were a couple of ladies in Caledon who tracked when I put things out.
[17:21] Gabrielle Riel: They'd come and scoop them all up.
[17:22] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) does not look at Frau Lowey
[17:22] Gabrielle Riel grins
[17:22] Soliel Snook: Well I saved all of mine and now they're new again... collectors Items
[17:22] Gabrielle Riel: I eventually became too busy to keep the shop full.
[17:22] Soliel Snook: ;0
[17:22] Gabrielle Riel: plus there are WAY less dressmakers than there used to be.
[17:23] Gabrielle Riel: And the dresses are no trans.
[17:23] Gabrielle Riel: I have a folder of dresses called "old classics" - they aren't going anywhere!
[17:23] Zantabraxus (zantabraxus.aristocarnas): Welcome back, Annechen
[17:23] Gabrielle Riel: Anyway!
[17:24] Gabrielle Riel: The parcel on which the market sits is deed to the Riel Estates Residents group, so you can rez your items there and they won’t be returned.
[17:24] Gabrielle Riel: It's there, deeded and opened.
[17:24] Gabrielle Riel: So rez away!
[17:24] Gabrielle Riel: Once we have some items in there, I'll put the market into SL search.
[17:25] Gabrielle Riel: But I am not going to do that while it's still empty.
[17:25] Gabrielle Riel: Do you guys have any questions about The St John Market?
[17:26] Cee Edman: Not I
[17:26] Litta Nightfire whispers hello during the change of subject
[17:26] Gabrielle Riel: If not, then we'll move into the BIG topic - Mardi Gras
[17:26] Emmanuelle Huntress: woo
[17:26] Cee Edman whispers back
[17:26] Gabrielle Riel puts up the new slide

[17:27] Litta Nightfire: ZOMG a slide show! RUN!
[17:27] Gabrielle Riel: We had a good first planning meeting a week ago tonight at Shade of Green.
[17:27] Gabrielle Riel grins
[17:27] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) chuckles
[17:27] Litta Nightfire: (No, seriously, I think your organizational talent is superb)
[17:29] Gabrielle Riel: All your base are belog to us!
[17:29] Gabrielle Riel: *belong
[17:29] Emmanuelle Huntress: !
[17:29] Litta Nightfire: hahaha
[17:29] Cee Edman: Her Grace, the Nerdiness
[17:29] Gabrielle Riel: I will assimilate you....oh wait, that's not THIS sim. :-)
[17:29] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) makes a note
[17:30] Litta Nightfire: assimulate us, perhaps?
[17:31] Gabrielle Riel: Here is the transcript from last week's meeting. Don't worry about reading the whole thing now. The slide summarizes it.
[17:31] Emmanuelle Huntress cracks my knuckles
[17:31] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) groans quietly
[17:31] Gabrielle Riel: http://gabrielleriel.blogspot.com/2014/02/transcripts-from-mardi-gras-meeting-1.html
[17:31] Gabrielle Riel: So we have some things we know we are going to do.
[17:32] Soliel Snook: I will have to leave shortly as my dinner is ready but Le Cigare and the Garden would like to do some events
[17:32] Gabrielle Riel: Those are under "what we have" - I'll go over each, briefly, and let the folks who are managing some of the items tell you a bit about them
[17:33] Gabrielle Riel: I'll be stalking you when I make the schedule Soliel.
[17:33] Soliel Snook: ok great
[17:33] Soliel Snook: Auvoir.. I am off to mash potatoes..
[17:33] Cee Edman: Bye, Soliel
[17:33] Mercy (mercy.warcliffe): bye
[17:34] Gabrielle Riel: First of all, if you did not hear, we are doing a 2-day Mardi Gras
[17:34] Gabrielle Riel: Monday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 4 (which is actual Mardi Gras)
[17:34] Cee Edman: (One day for drinking, one for the hangover?)
[17:34] Gabrielle Riel: 2 days for drinking for sure
[17:35] Gabrielle Riel: Hangover is Wednesday!
[17:35] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): Hangover at Ash Wednesday Mass is traditional.
[17:35] Buttered Crumpet :
[17:35] Gabrielle Riel: For those of you that remember the Always Marching Parade from New Toulouse in 2012, that's what we'll be doing again.
[17:36] Gabrielle Riel: I learned my lesson in 2011.
[17:36] Gabrielle Riel: "Scheduled" parades at which 75 avatars descend upon your sim at once are not fun for your guests.
[17:37] Gabrielle Riel: I *might* have some recommended "gathering" times, when we can get the St John folks together to all come out at once.
[17:37] Gabrielle Riel: But otherwise, we'll be a non stop 48 hours or partying and parading for everyone.
[17:38] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Woot!!!!
[17:38] Gabrielle Riel: In 2012 it was amazing. It was a risk. I had no idea how it would go.
[17:38] Buttered Crumpet : That was delicious, KlausWulfenbach Outlander!  Touch the Platter for more !
[17:39] Gabrielle Riel: The one thing I did know: I was NOT going to repeat the debacle that was 2011.
[17:39] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) chuckles
[17:39] Gabrielle Riel: I have been a Bad Gabi, I still need to get the float "requirements" out. bad, bad Gabi
[17:39] Gabrielle Riel: So people can build their floats
[17:39] Emmanuelle Huntress: Despite what folks say, it isn't a party if the sim crashes
[17:40] Gabrielle Riel: No, especially not when it's something like a parade where you are trying to view all the floats.
[17:41] Gabrielle Riel: A dance, it's not so bad. Folks can come back and start dancing again. (although you always lose at least 25% of your guests - they don't return)
[17:41] Gabrielle Riel: But a parade...it's a nightmare. Some floats crash never to return
[17:42] Gabrielle Riel: When they are individually driven, people with more powerful PCs run over the poor lagging folks on old PCs.
[17:42] Gabrielle Riel: Anyway - I will get that info out in the next 48 hours. If I don't, you can spank me.
[17:42] Emmanuelle Huntress: Yes'm
[17:42] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) raises an eyebrow
[17:43] Litta Nightfire raises a paddle
[17:43] Cee Edman: grins evilly
[17:43] Gabrielle Riel smiles sweetly
[17:43] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): No, just take away her wine.
[17:43] Cee Edman: Spanking would be more fun
[17:43] Gabrielle Riel: I'm going to be giving (most likely) 2 Mardi Gras Balls. (shh Frau Lowey!)
[17:44] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey) eyebrows.
[17:44] Gabrielle Riel: They will be formal, possibly masque. But formal attire. Classical music.
[17:44] Gabrielle Riel: With some Zydeco tossed in :-)
[17:44] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Yes!
[17:45] Cee Edman: Yes, ther more Zydeco, the better
[17:45] Gabrielle Riel: I think I'll do one Euro time on Monday and the other North American time on Tuesday.
[17:45] Gabrielle Riel: We also discussed the concept of a Home Tour, which Frau Lowey kindly offered to manage.
[17:46] Gabrielle Riel: Of course we will need residents to participate! Decorate up their homes and open them.
[17:46] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): I hope that we may be able to adapt the home tour to a permanent walking tour of the parish and woods, later.
[17:46] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Fun!!!
[17:46] Gabrielle Riel: And further details on the Home Tour Frau Lowey? Were you able to get a hold of Frannie?
[17:46] Pete (peteewheatstraw): A great idea Annechen!
[17:47] Gabrielle Riel: I *love* that idea.
[17:48] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): Not yet, but there are some things I know we need - a notecard from each residence or business that wishes to participate with a landmark and a descriptive paragraph. (8x10 color glossies optional)
[17:48] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): If you are hosting an event, or want to point out a specific item for perusal, please include that as well.
[17:49] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): Including a picture might not be a bad idea, to ensure you are in the right house.
[17:49] Gabrielle Riel: Let me get you set up right now as we are speaking so you can send notices to the residents group
[17:49] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): Heh. Heh. heh.
[17:49] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): I mean, of course, thank you.
[17:50] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) snorts
[17:50] Gabrielle Riel: Oh step carefully my dear!
[17:50] Gabrielle Riel: You *know* how I get about notices!
[17:50] Gabrielle Riel: (I'm teasing) :-)
[17:50] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): Fewer than one an hour, yes.
[17:50] Gabrielle Riel: But in all truth I am anal as Hell about them.
[17:51] Gabrielle Riel: Nothing gets me going like a notice to Caledon about an event in God Knows Where!
[17:51] Zantabraxus (zantabraxus.aristocarnas): Or somebody sending comments about the same event every 10 minutes
[17:51] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) persists in believing the AEther Salon is for everyone.
[17:51] Gabrielle Riel: Oh that too
[17:52] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Harumph!  I make the motion we extend the meeting by 15 minutes ... thank you!
[17:52] Litta Nightfire giggles
[17:52] Gabrielle Riel: You should see the policies I wrote up once upon a time about event spam
[17:52] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Did it involve public hangings???
[17:52] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): Actaully, I think I should.
[17:53] Gabrielle Riel: Any other Home Tour info Annechen? I like your idea of a "permanent" tour.
[17:53] Pete (peteewheatstraw): I agree!
[17:53] Cee Edman: nods
[17:53] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): At the moment, I will mostly need the paragraph and the landmark.
[17:54] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): If I do not get those, we will treat the property as extremely private.
[17:54] Cee Edman nods in greeting to Mr. Breitman
[17:54] Selena (selenaanansi) reads back looking for the "permanent" info
[17:55] Eclectric Breitman: Howdy howdy
[17:55] Cee Edman: That was in the previous meeting, Selena
[17:55] Selena (selenaanansi): oh
[17:55] Selena (selenaanansi): so if we participate in the Mardi Gras tour we will be on a permanent tour listing?
[17:56] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): Not neccessarily.
[17:56] Gabrielle Riel: No
[17:56] Gabrielle Riel: The organization of the tour will serve as a framework for a sim tour.
[17:56] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): If you wish to be on the tour for the holiday, but not the permanent tour, just ask that it be fore the special occasion only.
[17:57] Selena (selenaanansi): Okay, good. Thank you for that clarification.
[17:57] Gabrielle Riel: Pete is going to set up a fireworks show. I think we should run the fireworks twice each day.
[17:57] Litta Nightfire claps quietly
[17:57] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): During natural night, I suppose.
[17:57] Gabrielle Riel: (I'll put them into the schedule with times)
[17:57] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey) nods, hopefully
[17:58] Gabrielle Riel: Yes, and also after each Ball
[17:58] Pete (peteewheatstraw): I would like to invite everyone to a demo after the meeting ... I have them set and ready to go
[17:58] Gabrielle Riel: Here in Duchess Square right?
[17:59] Pete (peteewheatstraw): On top of Rhets roof on the opposite end of the absynthe bar ... beside the Market .... Rhet has set up an informal bar and gathering place there open to the community
[17:59] Gabrielle Riel: Perfect
[17:59] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Im sorry I dont know the names of the squares yet .... but its behind the market ....
[18:00] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Will be a great place to view them ... I missed the zombie machine last week becasue I was smuggling fireworks across the border
[18:00] Gabrielle Riel: It doesn't have a name yet.
[18:00] Gabrielle Riel: Since I was inspired to create it last week.
[18:00] Litta Nightfire: ^^
[18:01] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): I am curious about these 'new' zombies.
[18:01] Emmanuelle Huntress: Did you buy the fireworks at South Of the Border?
[18:01] Cee Edman: Good to know we have a residenty smuggler
[18:01] Pete (peteewheatstraw): But I'm ready tonight for quite the show .. have had two practice sessions already!
[18:01] Gabrielle Riel: We pondered the zombie hunt concept last week Herr Baron
[18:01] Gabrielle Riel: I'd like to do one...but I am not sure.
[18:01] Pete (peteewheatstraw): No M'am Ms. Huntress ....
[18:01] Litta Nightfire is sorry she must run right after the meeting to do paperwork >.<
[18:02] Gabrielle Riel: We shouldn't do a hunt in this sim.
[18:02] Pete (peteewheatstraw): I am so curious about the zombie machine --- I had to miss that!
[18:02] Gabrielle Riel: And I'm not sure how thrilled the Woods folks would feel about a hunt there.
[18:02] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): Ja, there was not much in the minutes.
[18:02] Pete (peteewheatstraw): How about St john Wood???
[18:02] Pete (peteewheatstraw): OOps Im behind!
[18:02] Emmanuelle Huntress: it was rough when she turned up the wick on it
[18:03] Gabrielle Riel: I hauled out the old machine last week.
[18:03] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): Uncanny folk in the woods.
[18:03] Gabrielle Riel: So I might ask the Woods folks how they feel about it.
[18:03] Pete (peteewheatstraw): I regrret missing that .... tagrget practice is a good thing!
[18:03] Gabrielle Riel: I don't think they'll have problems, it's just that Woods is sooo peaceful.
[18:03] Gabrielle Riel: And the theme police in me gets twitchy.
[18:04] Emmanuelle Huntress: use supressed weapons
[18:04] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): We have an unfortunate outbreak of zombies on Europa, Herr Wheatstraw, if you are in the mood.
[18:04] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): With weather that changes with the wind, though....
[18:04] Litta Nightfire mumbles something about zombies seeking peace ... until, of course, they don't.
[18:04] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): What about a skybox for it, Miz Gabi?
[18:04] Gabrielle Riel: Hmm - let me simmer on it.
[18:05] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey) nods.
[18:05] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Thank you Sir Baron!
[18:05] Gabrielle Riel: Would you be willing to run a hunt Herr Baron? Or hunts? If I can get the location settled?
[18:05] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): I am thinking the Grim system might be exemplary for this, and Fraulein Zanya could assemble a simple scenario fairly quickly, I reckon.
[18:05] Eclectric Breitman: Sorry I'm not up to speed. Is the zombie hunt for use during Mardi Gras?
[18:05] Gabrielle Riel: Or have your minions run a hunt? ;-0
[18:05] Gabrielle Riel: Yes Mr. B.
[18:06] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): She does have all the vendors.
[18:06] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): I have to discuss it with her, of course.
[18:06] Gabrielle Riel: It's good to have minions!
[18:06] Litta Nightfire ponders a zombie hunt and parade on the same sim ... /me pets it sympathetically
[18:06] Eclectric Breitman: Do we need another draw for that. Last time we had more people coming out our ears just because it was Mardi Gras.
[18:06] Gabrielle Riel: Oh HELL to the no Litta
[18:07] Cee Edman laughs
[18:07] Litta Nightfire giggles mischievously
[18:07] Gabrielle Riel: If we do it it will be in Woods
[18:07] Pete (peteewheatstraw): I was bit last week but fortunately I had on a neck brace from hitting a large hole in the poorly paved back roads smuggling the explosives   errr.. fireworks!!!
[18:07] Litta Nightfire edges away from Pete
[18:08] Gabrielle Riel: That's a good point Mr. B. Perhaps we should do the hunt another time.
[18:08] Pete (peteewheatstraw): I know vampires go for the neck ... but this was was a zombue vampire!!!
[18:08] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey) coughs, sounding like "Easter", but it is unclear.
[18:09] Pete (peteewheatstraw): It would spread out the fun and leave the focus on Mardis Gras!
[18:09] Litta Nightfire nods. Appropriate time to rise from the dead.
[18:09] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): Miz Gabi, perhaps you can spare some time to have a look at the system in question when I can arrange for it to be available.
[18:09] Gabrielle Riel: I do want those of you who have been through Mardi Gras with me in the past to weigh on in these things.
[18:09] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): It is one of our most popular events during Game Day.
[18:09] Gabrielle Riel: Oh I am not surprised.
[18:10] Gabrielle Riel: As for what we need:
[18:10] Gabrielle Riel: We need a poster!
[18:10] Gabrielle Riel: Promotional poster-thing
[18:10] Pete (peteewheatstraw): *** tosses a zombie an easter bunny while running for the hills!!!***
[18:10] Litta Nightfire has the artistic skills of a dead camel.
[18:11] Gabrielle Riel knows how those dead camels are
[18:11] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey) shakes her head.
[18:11] Zantabraxus (zantabraxus.aristocarnas) chuckles
[18:12] Gabrielle Riel: If any of you feel like creating a poster, or if you know someone who is artistically talented that you can press into service, get em!
[18:12] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): I have an idea, but not proper skills.
[18:12] Gabrielle Riel: I'm being *kind* of laid back about promotion.
[18:12] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): Frau Lowey, talk to the staff.
[18:13] Gabrielle Riel: I'm not all stressed about it.
[18:13] Gabrielle Riel: This is our first Mardi Gras and I just want to have a good time, myself.
[18:13] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): Our firs mardi Gras, here.
[18:13] Gabrielle Riel: I'll post stuff on the regular places
[18:13] Gabrielle Riel: But I'm not going to kill myself to pimp it
[18:14] Litta Nightfire: Wise
[18:14] Gabrielle Riel: Been there. Done that. Felt like a dead camel afterwards.
[18:14] Cee Edman: Gee, lots of dead camels around here
[18:15] Emmanuelle Huntress: Don't look at me
[18:15] Gabrielle Riel: Frau Lowey, I've added you as an Event Manager to the residents group.
[18:15] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey) nods.
[18:15] Gabrielle Riel: I think what I will do is put up a "visual" version of the schedule in here.
[18:16] Gabrielle Riel: Frau Lowey needs to get the home tour info out. I need to get the parade info out.
[18:16] Gabrielle Riel: I am open to putting more events on the schedule IF someone has a creative inspiration.
[18:17] Gabrielle Riel: But my intention is to have our parade and party ongoing during the 2 days
[18:17] Gabrielle Riel: With the scheduled Balls and fireworks. And the tour.
[18:17] Selena (selenaanansi): sounds like a very nice set of events
[18:17] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey) considers
[18:17] Gabrielle Riel: I'm open to other ideas, but as I said: not killing myself over it!
[18:18] Pete (peteewheatstraw): We will share *the love*!!!
[18:18] Gabrielle Riel: Before we head for the fireworks demo, does anyone have any questions? Ideas?
[18:18] Litta Nightfire: I have an unrelated question
[18:19] Gabrielle Riel: If you think of something, send me a email.
[18:19] Gabrielle Riel: What's that Litta?
[18:19] Litta Nightfire: We're living in the graveyard at present, and I have a little rat or two whom I would like to train to run around ... over other people's gravestones & plots, very llikely.
[18:20] Litta Nightfire: Does anyone think people would mind?
[18:20] Gabrielle Riel: Hmm. I'll need to check with the other tenants.
[18:20] Gabrielle Riel: because I guarantee you
[18:20] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Rhet owns four there and would welcome dancing rats that can play the piano!
[18:20] Gabrielle Riel: Someone will mind if I don't check
[18:20] Cee Edman: So true
[18:20] Litta Nightfire: I don't want to disturb anyone's rest, of course.
[18:21] Selena (selenaanansi): will they have any LI?
[18:21] Gabrielle Riel: I had someone have a stroke over zombies in the cemetery in NT.
[18:21] Litta Nightfire: One LI
[18:21] Selena (selenaanansi): which I bet would be the biggest objection
[18:21] Gabrielle Riel: Actually no
[18:21] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Natural Selection Ms. Gabi!!!
[18:21] Gabrielle Riel: People really do look at these as actual memorials
[18:21] Gabrielle Riel: If I made simple changes in the cemetery in NT?
[18:21] Gabrielle Riel: Like change the fence?
[18:22] Gabrielle Riel: It was tantrum time.
[18:22] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander) did everything he could to rid that graveyard of zombies during the hurricane.
[18:22] Litta Nightfire: In that case, I will powwow with Pete and use the common areas.
[18:22] Gabrielle Riel: The ONE time we put zombies there, I had someone move out in a huff.
[18:22] Gabrielle Riel: They get really, really touchy
[18:22] Litta Nightfire: Please do not disturb folks, Gabi, on this account.
[18:22] Eclectric Breitman: I'll keep a huff ready in case we need to ship someone out.
[18:22] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Zombies aren't bad ... simply misunderstood!!!
[18:22] Cee Edman laughs
[18:23] Gabrielle Riel: You'd likely be surprised at what "little" things can upset people.
[18:23] Gabrielle Riel: Selena wouldn't be surprised.
[18:23] Cee Edman: If they aren't bad, why does everyone want to hunt them down?
[18:23] Gabrielle Riel: She's seen what her mother gets.
[18:23] Litta Nightfire: I thyink using the common areas and a couple of Pete's plots would do fine, Gabi.
[18:23] Annechen Löwey (annechen.lowey): If it were Miss Lludmilla complaining, I could see an issue, professional courtesy and all.
[18:24] Gabrielle Riel: That's fine Litta.
[18:24] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Thank you Litta!!!
[18:24] Litta Nightfire curtsies to Pete and makes a note about a piano.
[18:24] Gabrielle Riel: I used to stumble into pissing people off all the time.
[18:24] Pete (peteewheatstraw): Did I mentioned raw oyster gargling contests????
[18:25] Gabrielle Riel: On that lovely note, shall we adjourn?
[18:25] Baron Klaus Wulfenbach (klauswulfenbach.outlander): Ah, that's right, the zombie Librarian Fraulein.
[18:25] Pete (peteewheatstraw): ... I'm sure someone could write an anim!
[18:25] Pete (peteewheatstraw): I second the motion Sir Baron!
[18:25] Gabrielle Riel: I'll turn the sim lights off for the fireworks demo.
[18:25] Gabrielle Riel: I'm going to capture this transcript now....
[18:26] Gabrielle Riel: Done!
