Estate Update for St John Residents

Hello St John Residents!

I hope you are all having a wonderful summer. Lots of folks are on holiday during the month of July, so I did not hold any town teas. The teas will recommence in August, but I wanted to let you all know about what will be happening in St John in the near future.

First of all, I'd like to welcome the following new residents to St John:

St John Pension
Kenny Moreland
Nephaera Cliassi
earthlight Palmira
Ravenstask Bayn
PeteEWheatstraw Resident
Kelcyeva Resident
As you can see from this list, the St John Pension is now full.

St John Parish
Swimmy Sandalwood
Emma Portilo
Bromios Resident

St John Woods
Meg Mosswood
Hel Darkthorn
Atabia Resident
cadence Carolina (welcome back!)

I usually do this welcome at tea, but since there has been no tea for over a month, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome the new folks. Give them a wave when you see them.

*Social Events*
We have several social events on the horizon.

3rd Sundays - Songs from the Nightingale, NOLA & Early Jazz Edition - 12:30-2pm SLT at The Nightingale

4th Sundays - Songs from the Nightingale, Swing Edition - 6-7:30pm SLT at The Nightingale

*Town Teas*
Town tea is back! The next one is Wednesday, August 6. Our big topic for that tea will be our...

HURRICANE!

As of this writing I only have one piece of news on the hurricane: it will take place on the 4th weekend in August. Friday, August 22, Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24.

I will be explaining our hurricane in much more detail over the coming weeks for those of you who have not experienced one of them. Of course if you have any questions, please let me know!

*Needs Assessment for a Bayou*

I have received several inquiries from residents asking if I will be adding a full sim bayou to St John. My answer to that is: I will if I can fill it with residents!

At this point I am just seeking to know resident interest levels in a bayou. If you would be interested in leasing in a bayou, please let me know. If you have friends who you think would lease there, please let me know that too. Also, please let me know if you would be adding the bayou property to any current St John holdings you have or if you would be transferring completely to the bayou.

There is one thing we all need to keep in mind about a new sim. The used sim market, after a 3 year slump, has bounced back with a vengeance. This means that there are not many used sims available, and those that are available are stupid expensive. This higher cost means higher rental rights costs. I'll be taking many things into consideration as I ponder a bayou for St John.

It's been a sleepy summer so far in St John, but as you can see, we have a lot of things on the horizon! If you have questions about anything I mention in this update, please let me know!

Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Miz Gabi
