After 13.5 amazing years of Radio Riel, I am retiring the Radio Riel brand and transitioning to a new one: Radio Nightingale.

Nothing will change for our listeners. You can still tune in to the music you love on the streams you have always used. The only changes you will note are as follows:

  • What was Radio Riel's main stream has become Radio Nightingale Classical. The music format remains the same.
  • The stream identification messages will say "You are listening to Radio Nightingale" instead of "You are listening to Radio Riel".

In honor of this transition, there will be a day-long Songs from the Nightingale broadcast on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 12:00pm to 10:00pm North American Pacific Time. We will celebrate a new year and the beginning of the next chapter of music from me and my team.

Tune in on what is now known as Radio Nightingale Classical. You can use http://music.radioriel.org or http://classical.radionightingale.org . The schedule is:

12:00pm - 2:00pm - Otenth Paderborn will be the Musical Magpie and play his wonderful eclectic mix.

2:00pm - 10:00pm - I, Gabrielle Riel, will play one popular song from every year from 1900 to 2020.
